X Like & Unfollow Tool is a Chrome extension that automates two actions on X (Twitter): liking posts in your feed and unfollowing accounts you choose to unfollow, based on settings you control from the extension's popup or side panel.

The extension runs entirely inside your own browser, on tabs you have open on x.com or twitter.com. It does not operate a server, does not have a backend database, and does not transmit your activity anywhere outside your device.

To function, the extension reads and interacts with the page content of the active X/Twitter tab while it is running. This is used only to locate on-screen elements such as Like buttons and Follow/Unfollow buttons, and to click them on your behalf according to your chosen delay and limits.

• Session settings — your delay, target count, start position, and toggle preferences are saved locally using Chrome's storage so they persist between sessions.
• Run-time counters — the number of posts liked or accounts unfollowed in the current session, kept locally so the popup and side panel can display live progress.
• Page elements on x.com / twitter.com — read only to locate buttons to interact with; no post content, message content, or personal profile data is read, copied, or stored.

This extension does not sell, rent, trade, or share any data with third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers. There is no external server involved in the extension's operation — everything happens locally between your browser and the X/Twitter page you're on.

Settings and counters are stored locally via chrome.storage and remain on your device until you change them, reset them from within the extension, or remove the extension entirely. Uninstalling the extension permanently deletes this local data — there is no copy kept anywhere else.

This extension is intended for use by X/Twitter account holders, in line with X's own minimum age requirements. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this same page with a new effective date above. Continued use of the extension after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
